PanchavatiPanchavati is considered as one of the most sacred spot in Nashik. This place is said to be the home of Lord Ram, Laxman, and Sita during their exile. Panchavati gets its name from the five Banyan (Vad) trees here. This place is in close proximity of the holy river Godavari and Sita Gumpha, the place from where Sita was kidnapped by the demon Ravana.
